Invention Convention
Students will build their own invention using at least three different simple machines. Students will draw a blueprint of what they intend to build, build their invention in class, present their invention to the class, and finally show off their completed work at the Fourth Grade Invention Convention. Parents, Third Grade students, and other fourth graders will be viewing these inventions and students will talk about the simple machines they used to create their project and how their project makes work easier.
